how to diasble msconfig

Try this trick

1. Go to %SystemRoot%\pchealth\helpctr\binaries

2. Rename the “msconfig.exe” to “msconfig2.exe”

3. Start > Run > type msconfig (a new msconfig.exe will be created within the folder)

4. Delete the “msconfig2.exe” which has been renamed just now

5. Msconfig is now disabled from Run but still able to launch via its target file (exe) located in the root

To undo, rename the only “msconfig.exe” that left to “msconfig2.exe”

OR

ada 3 cara:

1. buat key di “HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System” dengan nama DisableMsConfig dengan value 1

2. buat key di “HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System” dengan nama DisableMsConfig dengan value 1

3. membuat setiap membuka msconfig menjadi notepad, hehehe usil. dengan membuat key di “HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\” dengan nama msconfig.exe dengan value atau nilai C:\Windows\notepad.exe
